Transit Alexandria Hostel

At the time of writing this review, I stayed in a double room with a balcony for 750 EGP per night. The accommodation is ideally located in the heart of Corniche, Alexandria's beautiful coastal road. It is situated in a building right next to Saad Zaghloul Square, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, markets, and shopping complexes. The Corniche itself offers a priceless experience for leisurely strolls. Located on the 4th floor, the hotel provides a balcony with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, bathed in warm sunlight. The room is spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need, including a TV, fan, air conditioning (unused during winter), a table, and chairs. There’s very little to ask for beyond what is already provided. Hot water is readily available and works perfectly. While it’s not a luxury hotel, one thing I can confidently say is that this is the best choice you can find for 750 EGP per night. If you are a long-term backpacker or planning to spend extended time in Alexandria, often called the "Bride of the Mediterranean," I highly recommend the Transit Hotel. The staff is friendly and available 24/7. Although breakfast service is not provided, there’s a common hall with tables where you can freely relax. If you need anything, the thoughtful owner, Mohamed, and the staff will go out of their way to assist you. Mohamed is incredibly capable and kind. The location is perfect to everywhere. The room space and facilities are good. Receptionist also very helpful. Great value of money for a private room with attach bathroom.

Good location and super clean in the room. It was very convenient to go Citadel of Qaitbay and the library.

Best location at affordable rate, very nearby to the Corniche and most of the attractions there. Go for it without any hesitation. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of the old building. The list service will lead you to it.

The location was fantastic. Many good restaurants nearby, the Mediterranean Sea was a block away. There’s a Drinkies and pharmacy downstairs. Clean room and the staff was very friendly but not overbearing. A very nice shopping area was within a few blocks and plenty of nice cafes and shisha joints too!
